Some nights in Boston carry more weight than others. This April, we had the privilege of sponsoring the afterparty for the Friends of the Public Garden's Green & White Gala, marking 30 years of one of the city's most meaningful traditions. For three decades, this evening has brought Boston's civic leaders, philanthropists, and neighbors together in support of the green spaces that make this city what it is.
A Milestone Worth Celebrating
Thirty years is not a small number, especially when it is spent in service of something as quietly essential as a city's parks. The Green & White has grown into one of Boston's most anticipated spring events, and for good reason. It represents the single largest source of funding behind the care of the Public Garden, the Boston Common, and the Commonwealth Avenue Mall, work that keeps these landmarks thriving for every generation of Bostonians who walks through them.
We have always believed that real estate is about more than transactions. It is about the neighborhoods, the streets, and the shared spaces that make a place worth calling home. Sponsoring the afterparty for this milestone gala was our way of standing behind that belief in a very real, very Boston way.

That is exactly what the Friends of the Public Garden protect. Their work funds everything from tree care to horticulture to the everyday maintenance that keeps these parks safe and beautiful year round. It is not glamorous work, but it is the reason these landmarks still feel timeless after all these years.
Why We Show Up for Nights Like This
An R&RA-style afterparty is our way of bringing energy and celebration to causes we genuinely care about. This one felt especially personal. We work in neighborhoods across Boston every day, and the value of those neighborhoods is shaped in large part by the green spaces that surround them. Supporting the people who care for those spaces is, in many ways, an extension of the work we already do.
Being part of a milestone year for the Green & White, alongside so many other Boston institutions and civic leaders, was a reminder of how much stronger this city is when its residents choose to invest in it. Thirty years of stewardship deserves to be celebrated, and we were proud to help make this year's celebration one to remember.
